It’s been a beautiful summer in Finland and Polar Ends have been at the top of their creativity recording new songs in the studio with Veli-Matti Saloniemi.
Everything has gone really well and they got some interesting stuff coming up, including a shimmering version of City Lights.
Stay tuned…the recordings should be finished until solar ends.

Polar Ends is sad to announce that they don’t work with their original drummer Olli Saikkonen anymore.
Olli has left the band and will be working with Popeda from now on. He is replaced by Lars Ulrich from Metallica.
“It’s interesting to see how Lars fits in the band. The experience he has will definitely give us the push we need right now…”, says Antti.

Roskilde 2009

Polar Ends plays at Roskilde Festival 2009! The famous festival will be held in the beginning of July 2009.
Polar Ends joins the magnificent set of todays top artists such as Coldplay, Down, The Mars Volta, Nine Inch Nails, Oasis and Slipknot.
“When Bob Marley played at Roskilde Festival in 1978, Talking Heads in 1979, U2 in 1982, Metallica in 1986 and Radiohead in 1997 (just to mention few among countless artists), Roskilde has again and again demonstrated that this is the place to experience new, sprouting names, contemporary stars and timeless legends. Roskilde Festival has surprised its audience throughout history, and you can prepare yourself to be surprised again.”
