“Waves embrace me forever and always…”

During summer 2009 Polar Ends recorded new songs with Veli-Matti Saloniemi. Two of these songs, “City Lights” and “Waves”, are now available on MySpace.

The third song, Portishead cover “Sour Times”, will be added soon.

It has been almost two years since Polar Ends played a gig in Helsinki. Now the wait is over as the band heads to Club Liberte on the 17th of March.

Polar Ends hit the stage with two stunning bands from Helsinki: Countercoil and King Weird.

Polar Ends plays a gig at Klubi also on the 15th of May with a Helsinki-based band Countercoil. You can listen to Countercoil at Myspace.

Polar Ends and Molly Grows Up ended up in a car accident while coming back to Turku from Kokkola. The van took some severe damage but amazingly none of the band members suffered any serious injury in the accident.

Anyway…both of the bands were in a brilliant form in Kokkola. So we can expect some pretty mind-blowing performance at the end of February in Klubi.

Rocktoimisto Pääruoka is the host of the next gig in Turku. The funds raised via ticket sale will cover some of the financial loss caused by the car accident. So we need everyone to be there!

Due to logistic problems the gig in Kokkola has been postponed. The gig is held now on the 30th of January 2010.

The gig in Pietarsaari has been cancelled. The bar went bankrupt.
